Punga Cove Rock Revetment Works
Located on the seaward corner of the Punga Cove Resort, this wall was expected to require 650 tonnes of rock. The end result required closer to 850 tonnes.
As this headland is quite shallow, tides and timing were critical to ensure the barge would reach the shore with enough tide to unload over high tide, then return and reload for the next day.
MSNZ worked with Crafar Crouch Construction (Picton) on this project. The exceptional skill of the Crafars digger drivers helped to achieve an excellent result.
